This morning we invited parents and carers to the grand opening of the brand new bug hotel in the early years outdoor area! The children have been helping to build it this half term as part of our topic ‘Let’s investigate…insects are interesting’. We have also planted tyres with different coloured wildflowers, linking with the ‘zones of regulation’ for helping to learn how to manage emotions. 

Everyone then explored a whole range of spider and minibeast activities together, including: a numbered hunt for spider facts, a spider’s web obstacle course and many many more! Take a look at what we all got up to on Web Wednesday…
